I am Muriel, a Flemish actress with Cape Verdean roots, and mother of two sons.
I was trained in Antwerp and Brussels, where I performed on various stages in Dutch, in English with set designer Niek Kortekaas, among others, and in French with choreographer Diane Broman, among others.
At Theatergroep De Nieuw Amsterdam I appeared in the productions 'Say goodbye to the sea' (Felix De Rooy) and 'Ay, Carmela!' (Nilo Berrocal).
On Flemish television I had leading roles in the Eén series 'Children of Dewindt' and 'Thuis', and guest roles in 'Wolven' (also on Eén), '13 Geboden' and 'Familie' (on VTM).
Besides body and soul, I also enjoy using my voice as a narrator for audiobooks and soon also as a farewell companion.
