Luis Alves is a Cape Verdean-Dutch actor, based between Los Angeles and Amsterdam. Born on the island of Praia in Cape Verde, he moved with his family to the Netherlands at a young age, where new opportunities awaited him. In Rotterdam, he discovered his passion for acting and received classical theater training.

Driven by the desire to further develop himself as an artist, Luis later moved to the United States, where he further developed his career on stage and in front of the camera.

Besides acting, Luis is an experienced voice actor with international assignments. His voice can be heard in commercials, educational programs, promotional videos, and instructional videos for television and radio.

Fluent in Cape Verdean Creole, Dutch, and English, Luis brings a unique wealth of perspectives to every project he undertakes with his multicultural background—a storyteller shaped by many worlds, always striving for connection.
