Hello,

I am Eveliene Quaijtaal (24).
I graduated from VU Amsterdam in 2023 with a degree in Media & Journalism. For this program, I interned at the production and impact producer Impact Makers. There, I conducted research for various audiovisual productions, including projects on youth care and intersectional feminism, and it sparked my enthusiasm for research work.

Recently, I finished my own documentary, commissioned by a local Amstelveen news station. This documentary is about the installation of a bus gate and its impact on the neighborhood's divisions, as well as everything that's happened over the past five years (lawsuits, Freedom of Information Act requests, neighborhood disputes, etc.).
Last year, I also served as assistant director for Leo de Boer's documentary about a historical story about the Castle of the Lords of Amstel. In the coming period, I'll be producing my own TV program for senior citizens in Amstelveen for 1Amstelveen.

I also have some paid production experience as a production assistant/volunteer coordinator at the Fraud Film Festival and a floor manager at IDFA. Finally, I've held various roles on set as a PA, extras supervisor, and third-party AD.
