Shaheer Alzir (2000, Masyaf, Syria) is an actor with a great love for theatre and film. In Syria he started playing in various theatre productions, but at the age of 16 he had to flee to the Netherlands. There he picked up his passion again, determined to continue building on what he had left behind.

He took his first steps in the Dutch theatre world at Kunstbende, where he won the 1st prize in Overijssel. He then studied at the MBO Theatre School in Arnhem. He is now in his third year at the Arnhem Theatre School (ArtEZ) and if all goes according to plan, he will graduate in 2026.

Shaheer loves stories that touch and always looks for roles in which he can bring something real. His acting is physical, sincere and layered, with a mix of his Syrian background and his experiences in the Netherlands. Whether on stage or in front of the camera, he always looks for the core of a character and how it connects with the audience.

With an open mind and a great love for his profession, he continues to develop himself as an actor, always looking for new challenges and collaborations.
