"Mullet Boyz"
In Australia I directed a short documentary that was selected for Monash University's Creative Directions Festival. The documentary "Mullet Boyz" explores the perspective of international students on the quintessential Australian hairstyle, the mullet. As these students' hair is cut into this style in the studio, they answer questions that shed light on the mystery and hype surrounding this hairstyle.

For the company SymbolBV I get paid assignments to edit short promotional videos. These videos are used for YouTube and will soon appear on the website. For this I use Adobe Premiere Pro.
Editing Junkie
A few years ago I started a YouTube channel (Editing Junkie) purely for my own entertainment to post fan edits. These are music videos with footage from my favorite films and tv shows that tell a certain story of the characters. Many of the videos are dated and come from periods when I was teaching myself to edit which resulted in low quality videos. However, there are a few projects that I am proud of. My most viewed video has around 350,000 views and the channel has 827 subscribers.
AEGEE Film Club
At the moment I am working with a number of other students to set up a film club within the student association AEGEE. We want to set up this film club after a number of very well-received videos that we made for the association. These included promotional videos and an introductory video of the new board.
"Brute!" and "Taming the Dragon"
I was an extra in the student film "Bruut!" from the HKU and "Taming the Dragon" from the junior team of Netflix. Although my role in these projects was not big, I learned a lot by being allowed to look behind the scenes.

Doordat ik naast film ook een grote interesse heb in journalistiek, zou ik deze vakgebieden graag combineren. Documentaire ontleent zich naar mijn idee naar deze wens en daarom ben ik erg gemotiveerd om meer te leren over documentaire. Ik heb brede interesses en pak daarom alle kansen om mezelf te ontwikkelen met twee handen aan; ik beperk me dan ook niet alleen tot documentaire en wordt graag gecontacteerd over nieuwe interessante projecten.

With a great passion for film and documentary, I am always looking for new opportunities to develop myself. I am always full of ideas and see possibilities everywhere. I am interested in multiple sides of the film and television industry and would like to orient myself broadly to find out what suits me best. As a result, I have been involved in a variety of projects in various functions; due to my pro-active attitude, I adapt easily and learn quickly. At the moment I am working on a minor in journalism. I would like to combine this knowledge with my ambition for film by further exploring the world of documentary.
