Film director and DOP with a background in all-round documentary making (direction, camera, production and editing). Graduated with a master's degree in documentary film from The School of Visual Arts in New York. Afterwards, he worked for three years as a documentary maker for international media company VICE in Amsterdam. Known from the films: "Wata Dawtas" about Jamaica's first synchronized swimming team, "De Nieuwe Gabbers" about the revival of the gabber culture, "Made in Boise" about surrogacy in the US and "Olympic Dream of Rio" about children from the Brazilian favelas who pursue their sports dreams.
