I am a film journalist from Nijmegen who decided a few years ago that I wanted to be behind the camera myself. My first project Jaarsgenoot was shown at various film festivals at home and abroad and won an award for Best Comedy Short in the United States. I also write short stories that have been published in various online magazines. In addition to a broad knowledge of film, I am inspired by long walks, dreams and philosophy. Recurring themes in my work are alienation and loneliness. My new film The Tripsitter is currently touring festivals, after a world premiere at Go Short 2023 in my home base of Nijmegen.
