She completed her undergraduate degree in architecture from Dokuz Eylül University in 2011 and her master's degree in Industrial Product Design from Istanbul Technical University in 2018. In parallel to her academic life, she took part in architecture and design projects at various offices. Between 2015 and 2022, she worked at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Izmir History Project, which focuses on cultural heritage and the historical regions of the city. In additon to her public sector experience, İşbilen is involved in various independent cultural projects. She is the founding partner of Tramp Kitchen (2019), tibia x fibula (2020), tasarım ile/with design (2021) and Neighborhood (2022) initiatives focused on the importance of transdisciplinary studies. Since September 2022, she has been working as design, art and cultural research coordinator at the We Live Together - Education and Social Research Foundation. She also contributes to the implementation of different projects at NGOs where she is a member of.
