I am a Dutch film student at the St.Joost School of Art and Design and I am a freelancer under the name of SWI Productions. I specialize mainly in the field of directing (both as a director and assistant director) and in the field of production in both first assistant and production assistant)

I am a young, ambitious filmmaker who likes nothing more than telling a story. Film is a strong medium. It's almost the only medium that can bring us close enough to a different perspective on the world. It can make us identify with people we don't know. Showing experiences that we have never experienced. To me, surrendering someone's experiences is one of the most beautiful things about film. I've wanted to be a fiction filmmaker since I was very young. That has not changed in recent years. My own position as a maker is something that keeps changing, just like the world around me.

An honest opinion and good empathy are qualities that I always strive for, both commercially and in my own work. Through feedback and self-reflection I try to get better and better, I want to use my creativity in my work. I have a lot of perseverance and will not give up until I achieve what I stand for. I can lead and like to invest time and energy in clear communication and a pleasant and instructive collaboration.
