Meglen Anzik Trpkov (1994) is a Macedonian-Dutch filmmaker. he is currently studying Audiovisual Media at the Hogeschool Kunsten Utrecht. He has been on stage from an early age. However, he slowly noticed that he wanted to tell his own stories. Meglen is characterized by the personal angle and his life experience and therefore has the ability to look from different angles. Subsequently, he always finds a connection to a wider audience. He looks for recognisability for other people and also for recognition in the stories of others. Meglen wants to bring his personal stories to the outside world and for this he also wants to explore other ways of writing. How does he touch others and generate recognition? That is the research that excites him the most. Themes that are characteristic of his work almost always fall in, the personal vulnerability, nostalgia, the passage of time and how to deal with it, and mourning.
