My name is Roman Giling. I am 26 years old, graduated anthropologist and currently doing the master 'visual anthropology' at the University of Amsterdam. During my bachelor's degree, I mostly focused on writing essays, papers and conducting qualitative research. I am skilled in academic writing in both English and Dutch texts.

During my bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, I discovered that sharing and creating stories, theories and experiences is my absolute passion. In addition to my passion for writing stories through a pen. I followed two modules on Visual Anthropology, creating an anthropological experience through image and sound.

In addition to 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry as a shift leader at the Troost brewery, I am also involved in online content and maintaining the websites and social media channels of the Troost brewery. I have also been working for Folia for two years now as a videographer, editor and host of my own web series, 'Koken met Ro'
