Over the last couple of years, I have had a lot of thought about what I wanted to do and what I have to do. My actions led me to technology and music, and my thoughts to combine these two things, which drive my passion. For the time I have been designing audio and making tracks for myself and university, now I am excited to take a new step forward to develop my skills, establish new friendships and fight for new opportunities. I find sound and audio engineering fascinating because sound has inspired me for my whole life from music, video games and films to nature. Now it's time for me to do the same and inspire others, to do that I have to spend my time learning and developing my full potential in a professional environment, so that later in the future I could use my knowledge not only to improve my life, but other life's as well and improve the surroundings. I have studied music management and sound production and now I want to be that person who creates his own sound and passes it on to others.
A lot of people have goals and dreams, but not determination, because people have told them that they won't succeed and all hope suddenly is lost. I have experienced the same, but that's the thing that drives me forward and I am driven to prove them wrong while being as proactive as I can be. I know that everything is possible and hard work always pays off, no matter how many times I fail, I will get up and continue fighting, because that’s what champions do. It is important for people to be happy because that is the key to success, but without a confident and analytical mind you will not get that far, that is why I spend time on my mental health to look at things from more than one point of view. I enjoy working with sound and people, as it is a way of how I can express my thoughts and share my ideas with others to make the world a happier place because all actions lead to a chain reaction and if I can inspire or make someone happy, they will do the same to others. Other than sound, music and technology I have interests like war, history, family, films, games, philosophy, sports, cars and space.
Since secondary school, my hobby has been making music. At first, it was songwriting, but later on, a friend of mine recommended me a software called “Fl Studio” which is a digital audio workstation and ever since I have been using it to make my tracks. I always look to improve and gain more knowledge, to do that I spend time researching and learning new things every day, not only for myself but to show a good example for my siblings and for those people who doubted me. Through my studies in Latvia and Scotland, I gained valuable knowledge about management and production which has helped me to understand how the music and audio business revolves around. Besides studying, I got to work on projects and organize small scale events in college as well as work in a merchandise booth at a festival and 2 gastronomy places, which has improved my organizational and planning skills, communication, problem-solving and adaptability. Besides my work and education, I happen to speak fluent English, a little bit of Russian and Latvian is my native language. I'm proud to say that I have been able to reach a small fan base with my music, and my songs have been played approximately 5200 times. I'm also happy that I managed to perform live once and everyone whom I spoke to was satisfied with my performance. My dedication has not only gone into sound and studies, a while ago I used to sail for 8 years, in that time period I managed to stand on the podium for more than 10 times, which includes taking 1st place in Latvian national ice sailing championship in 2011. For everyone it is always important to have a goal, mine after studies now is employment in the audio industry where I will be able to make a difference in the world with a huge sonic boom.
