My name is Bas Swelheim. Father of two young kids and all-round film and motion graphics professional.
After my first job at animation studio Creative Graphics, I started working at the Amsterdam TV station AT5. In Post Production. Here I learned all the basics of the TV industry. As it is a relatively small company, besides the post production, I also got the chance to write, shoot and direct a lot of productions.
In 2006 I went freelance. I started working for a lot of agencies, (post) production houses and companies in the Netherlands. Creating content for national TV, Social Media and Corporate use.
Meanwhile, I also discovered the camera, and as a film lover, started shooting my own content. I invested in some equipment and learned a lot about different camera systems and lenses. This made me where I am today; an all-round content creator, with my own production studio BazzMedia. Creating content from design to delivery.
Through BazzMedia I can handle any job thinkable. Either as a 'one-man-band' or together with other freelancers. From the design and concept phase on to production and post-production and finally, cross-media delivery. Working directly with the client, creating tailor made content and managing time, budget and client needs along the way.
