Within the company TMI Digital Literacy, I handle the video productions together with a handful of other colleagues. TMI teaches at secondary schools in the form of project weeks and workshops. We teach about filter bubbles, fake news, influencers, surreptitious advertising, cybercrime, sexting and sextortion, chat groups, money muling, online hate speech and everything else that happens on your phone. We have even made some lessons in collaboration with the government and the judiciary. We do not teach boring lessons that are of no use to you, but things that you encounter and use every day. We come up with 'storylines' that we combine with assignments, so for these storyline videos we are often looking for young people who like to play in our videos. These are often young people who are somewhat the same age as our target group, so that they can recognize themselves in it.
