Over the years, photography has always been the work and the pastime that gives me the most pleasure and satisfaction. Halfway through the 1990s (until now) I started making Film Stills for Dutch Film and TV and productions.

In daily life I am always on the move to do and achieve things with an open mind. Creative and calm solution-oriented thinking in unexpected situations and improvising with what is available to me is a challenge. I like organizing and bringing my own expertise and that of others together to achieve something. I am used to working independently. Being creative and making things is really in my genes. Because of my curiosity I always see new things and possibilities. I love creating atmosphere, good atmosphere that is. I have an eye for detail and am open to think along to come up with creative solutions with empathy and compassion.

Photography has a wide spectrum of possibilities. People in motion, objects and still situations get the attention they need from me to be well photographed.

become. The knowledge of light and the equipment are of course very important. My preference is to use existing light with a nice natural direction. But if that is not possible, I am able to create a studio setting with beautiful light.

- Cooking/catering; home cook daily, salmon on the fire, cooking location for 2 to 20 people, bread and pizzas, making soups, experimenting and tasting,

- To do odd jobs ; repairs and or adjustments in and around the house, hanging art, assembly and placement of new furniture, lamps and bookshelves, tidying garages and storage rooms and reorganizing them, connecting and hanging small electricity, building and adjusting photography/film/tv decor, making an outdoor kitchen cleaning and furnishing, cleaning wooden garden furniture, putting oil in it, connecting rain barrel + overflow to rainwater drainage from the gutter, minor plumbing work, making insect screens to keep insects out in the summer, making windows draft-tight, cleaning windows, packing moving boxes together, saving energy, refurbishing wooden furniture, sticking bicycle tyres, steaming/stripping off wallpaper, whitewashing walls, organizing and digitizing family photos/albums together, closing holes in walls,

- Design ; customized interior improvement, creative kitchen design with existing and/or recycled materials, Italian drainer, furnish walk-in closet, furnish balconies,

- Refurbishing ; repairing household goods, refurbishing bicycles, making old materials functional again and then using them to furnish the house,

- Transport & Logistics; driver (BE) for one-off or regular trips, used to drive large buses, transport and guide mentally handicapped people,

Education and career;
- School of Photography in The Hague and since 1988 a qualified photographer, Trainee at de Volkskrant and Vrij Nederland and after the journalistic wanderings, for theater, travel, companies, portraits, to date portraits, film / TV stills and publicity photographer.


-Leisure activity ; Walking and cycling in nature or the city, cooking for two or 20 people, doing chores in and around the house and repairing household goods is something I like to do and I am also handy at that. I like to read. I enjoy what I do otherwise I can't.
