My family introduced me to theater and plays at a young age. From the age of 13 I sold tickets for small performances. After high school I started working at the Noorder Compagnie theater company as a prompter. When I was old enough, I was allowed to work at the Haagse Comedie. A large and famous theater company in The Hague. Here I worked full-time as an assistant director and prompter.
In May 2014 I started as an extra in films and commercials. The following year I was given small bit part extras.
This acting development continued over the years. And I started to focus completely on acting.
With my film roles in Mi Casa su Blanca, Handkerchief's Tale and Kold, I have won several national and international awards. My strength as an actress lies in my beliefs and feelings, how the audience wants to see it.
Director:
In the summer of 2020, I had the opportunity to work with director Jessica Lau as first assistant director. My experience as an assistant director at the theater company 'Haagse Comedie' was a great advantage in following the director's vision.
Thanks to all these wonderful experiences, I eventually directed my own short film: #planB (2022) for a 48 hour film project. #planB is about the impact of plastic pollution.
