My name is Yael Shimon and I tell stories through film and video content. I grew up with a dual nationality, having Israeli parents while being born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I lived in London and Tel Aviv before returning to Rotterdam.

Through filmmaking, I utilize my passion for languages and stories, and find solutions to bridge gaps between people. I want to discover ways in which we are alike. My skills are very varied, and I like to tailor them for each project in a unique way.
