Dutch documentary and program maker, living in London and Amsterdam. Graduated in 'Directing Documentary' from the National Film & Television School. Recipient of several grants, including the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, Stichting Noorthey, and the Fundatie van Renswoude. Recently nominated for a Grierson Documentary Award.

Extensive work experience for commercial broadcasters such as Discovery Networks, Sony and Vice Media, and independent production companies such as October Films and Lion Television. Strong background in PR/communication and talent management.

My strengths include building relationships, obtaining permission to film, and developing strong storylines. Extensive experience in development. Strong affinity with coming up with original documentary/program ideas and incorporating them into a special proposal. Huge passion for film, which is evident in my cinematographic approach to documentaries.

Excellent self-shooting skills with broadcast cameras such as the FS7, C300, XF305 and DSLRs. Experienced editor - can handle both Avid and Premiere. Speak Dutch and English fluently.
