My parents and I fled to the Netherlands when I was little (6 years old). My country of origin is Angola. I spent a large part of my youth in various asylum centers.

It was not easy to learn Dutch and to fit into Dutch society. In the asylum seekers' centre many activities were organised for the children, an acting course was one of them. I signed up for it and it made a big impression on me.

Growing up in an asylum seekers center is very uncertain, these acting lessons gave me the hope and peace I needed to deal with that. That is why I still have the dream to become a famous actor.
