Noel Dimitrios Stavropoulos was born in Chicago, Illinois-USA in 1972. Never formally trained, the prodigy Artist attended SACI (Studio Art Collage International) in Firenze (1996-98) and studied with masters such as Jules Maidoff, Ron Bowen, and Paul Beel. He earned a scholarship to the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Nederland where he completed his five-year study (1998-2001), and since then, Noel has made exhibitions all over the world:
Jaffa-Israel, Sparta-Greece, Budapest-Hungary, Acquasparta-Firenze-Mantova-Italy, Hem-Hoorn-Sittard-Den Haag-Den Bosch-Zaandam-Amsterdam-Nederland, London-England, Paris-France, Como-Switzerland, Barcelona-Spain to (North America) Cherokee-North Carolina, Miami-Florida, New York-New York, Chicago-Illinois, Los Angeles-California and Vancouver-Canada.
He has created works in all mediums, fine art, performances, music videos and festivals, television shows, conceptual installations (The “Dream Machine” Series), award winning films, nightclub/gallery/film set designs and construction.
Noel has earned the title of virtuoso.
