The photographer profession comes through my father being a photojournalist he was the only Iraqi photographer going to the Arab countries under the war on 1960's and 1970's to document photography against the inhumanity of the war.

Since then my interest in photography has increased. Because of this I studied graphic art in the art academy in Baghdad. After my studies I worked as a photojournalist in my native Iraq.

In the Netherlands I have had many opportunities to further develop my talent. I have followed several courses in the field of photography and camera journalist.

In 2002 I published a photographer's book subtitled ''1001 Nacht Wachten'' about the life of the asylum seekers and the longest waiting for compensation in the Netherlands.

In addition, I gained experience as a camera journalist from the Netherlands for an Arabic channel.
I also made several short films that were screened in the Arab film festival in
Rotterdam and Abu Dhabi film festival.
At present time I am like photography , filmmaker, and artist.
