I have a Bachelor's degree in Film and Literary Studies from Leiden University and am pursuing a Master's degree in Media Studies; Cultural Analysis: Literature and Theory. I completed a screenwriting course at the Schrijvers Vakschool.

I am concerned (among other things with my studies) with how a film (or book) is/can be viewed. Where does the meaning of the story come from? Is it the author who creates the meaning or the reader/viewer. I then use these theories in my work to determine the best way to represent my ideas.

Furthermore, I am a creative and visual thinker who wants nothing more than to tell a great story.
