Kuba Szutkowski (Warsaw, 1982) writes, directs and produces films. With a specialism in audiovisual experiences for museums. Occasionally he can be found as a guest speaker or teacher at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy, the Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam and the International Film Festival Rotterdam, among others. For large (museum) projects, Kuba works with a team under the banner: Studio Maslow. Kuba distinguishes itself through its broad academic background. He holds a bachelor's degree in audiovisual design from the Willem de Kooning Academy, but also a bachelor's degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Utrecht and a Master's degree in Philosophy from Tilburg University. In addition, he has completed various in-depth courses in screenwriting (Robert McKee masterclass) and directing (Dutch Directorsguild: directing Act). As a director/writer he has been involved in various award-winning projects such as the TV series Boijmans TV (Museum Prize 2010), the art documentary: Collecting is a Disease (China KingBonn Award Best Documentary 2015 ), Vonk (RTV Rijnmond audience award best 48hfp, Best Film (runner-up) MiFo Miami) and the TV series Voice of the Goals.
