Lea Volke gained first-hand experience directing and producing short films in Germany, the United Kingdom and Los Angeles. Her first collaboration with the French producer Noémie Sornet "Blue Hour" got selected into various film festivals in Europe (Cannes Short Film Corner, Romford Film Festival, European Short Film Festival and more). She attended a drama school in Barcelona and worked as first assistant director in Berlin. After receiving her University degree in Literature and History, Lea joined the international TV series "Clash of Futures" in the development phase as assistant producer and researcher. In 2018 she directed and co-produced a corporate branding film for a German consultancy before she left Europe to deepen practical skills in film producing in Los Angeles. Together with Noémie and funded by the XX Fund and Creative Visions she directed a commercial to raise awareness for the non-profit organization „Mujeres en Acción“ and she wrote and directed "The Crash". Since this year, Lea lives and works in Amsterdam, developing a slide of documentary series for European TV.
