Here I am; Neeltje van Hoeflaken. I am 11 years old. After I had followed ten musical workshops when I was 6, I knew that I wanted to be busy with singing, dancing and acting. Since then I go to the Hakoena theatre school every week, where I get lessons in these three components. I also get singing lessons from Marij van den Boom. I thought the guest roles I was allowed to play in the Efteling musicals Klaas Vaak, Sprookjesboom and Pinokkio were great! After playing in the first real musical (Klaas Vaak) in October 2014 I knew for sure: “this is what I want”. Spotlights and full halls! With the Hakoena theatre school I have also been allowed to play quite a few performances.

In 2016 I did my first audition for Ciske de Rat of Stage Entertainment. And yes; I got through all the rounds and was allowed to play as Francientje last year. Because of this I saw many theaters in the South of the Netherlands. What a super fun experience this was!! I still miss it every day and will never forget this.

In the meantime I have done several auditions. At all auditions I have received nice compliments. For example, the jury says that I have talent, can sing, dance and act well and look nice.
In May 2018 I auditioned for Broadway Talents by Barrie Stevens. I was chosen for this; what a super big compliment! I would like to become even better with this. I started in September 2018.

My dream is to play in a big musical production, a film and a commercial again. A leading role would be great but I'm also happy with a supporting role. I'm already looking forward to it!
