Since 2002 I have directed, edited and shot various television programs and documentaries which have subsequently been sold to channels all over Europe, and in some cases even all over the world (including World Cities 3D to 27 countries), appeared in cinemas, and to international participated in competitions at festivals. In 2003 I moved to Spain where I directed and directed three full-length documentaries that have been released in cinemas, including 'Encierro 3D – Bull Running in Pamplona (2013)'. This film about the Pamplona bull riders in 3D has been released in more than thirty screens all over Spain and, in addition to being a critical success, also became the best-attended Spanish documentary in cinema of the year 2012 and 2013. On July 3, 2014, Wild Bunch Distributors released in cinemas in the Netherlands. Since the end of 2014 I have been working from Amsterdam again and I regularly edit for VPRO and Levi Productions, among others.

My first documentary on home soil, 'Infernal Pain', a long documentary about chronic pain was shown by the KRO/NCRV in 2017. In the same year my documentary Arte al Agua appeared in the Spanish cinema, where it ran for 12 weeks.

And finally, I speak five languages fluently, Dutch, Spanish, English, French and German.
