Petra is a Melbourne-born director, videographer and
video editor. Petra attended La Trobe University
from 2013-16, where she received a BA in media
screen and sound. It was in her last year at La
Trobe that Petra became interested in filmmaking.
In 2017, Petra was the recipient of the prestigious
National Gallery of Victoria Summer School Prize.

Her video work has exhibited at renowned Melbourne
gallery Seventh, and her first short film Sleeping
is Difficult is currently screening at festivals.
Commercially, Petra has extensive experience in
online and editorial video production, having worked
with some of Australia’s most reputable agencies,
production companies and brands. She is a capable
videographer, editor, director and video producer.
She is organised and creative and understands how to
create content for brands that is authentic, clever
and to-the-point. She also prides herself on her
ability to turn briefs around quickly, manage
multiple projects and people and ultimately make
great video content.
