My name is Mehdi Zadnane. I am 23 years old and I study audiovisual production at the Dutch Filmers Academy. As an independent filmmaker I always seek the extremes in the industry. How do I tell stories that not only appeal to people, but individualize themselves in contrast to the mass of productions that are currently on the market.

What drives people to live? And what problems in our lives are the most difficult for us to overcome? Film and audiovisual media play on our desires and fears in life in many ways, and I like to see and produce stories that get the most out of both the medium and human emotion.

With experience as a producer, production manager, writer and director in small-scale productions, I have built up a portfolio that gives me a clear view of both the productional and creative aspects of the industry, and I want to use this knowledge to bring innovative concepts to the general public in collaboration with other filmmakers and other creative individuals in the industry.
