Peter Bartlema (Voorburg 1954) studied Dutch and Home Economics at the teacher training college in Amsterdam. After working for seven years in secondary education, he followed a course in automation. He then worked as an office automation expert in banking and made the transition to automation trainer. Subsequently, he worked as a project manager and consultant at an ICT service company for the real estate sector.

By completing the Digital Film Making course at the SAE Institute, he wanted to give a new, creative impulse to his career and thus embarked on a new path.

The documentary genre has been embraced by him; he now has a number of productions to his name and a number are in preparation.
