Empathy plays a major role in my work. As a maker, I think it is important to be able to make a connection with the viewer. My goal is to give people a glimpse into someone else's life. I also think it is important to bring cultures together so that we can understand each other better.

My interests lie mainly in making fiction or documentaries. My films contain symbolism, layering and recognisability. With this I try to make the viewer think.
