I recently graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht (Cinematic Image). During the first year of this programme, you will gain a broad foundation. Then in the second year you choose a BOL, two study options that you would like to try out. I chose the direction of Fashion and Cinematic Image. Two completely different directions, but I still went for the Cinematic Image direction. At Filmisch Beeld you actually learn all the tasks you can have within a film team: camera, light, sound, editing, production, directing. During the course I found out that I especially find editing films very interesting, so I would like to continue in this as well.
