Hiske Bongaarts (1988) is a versatile actress, presenter and singer. She graduated Cum Laude from the Music Theater Academy of the Tilburg Conservatory in 2010 with her own adaptation of the book Alice in Wonderland. During her studies she plays roles in various professional musical and opera productions in the Netherlands and abroad. After her studies she focuses on a career as a solo singer and she tours with various acts and bands in the Netherlands and abroad. For example, in 2016 she tours with her act The Motown Marbles in China and Oman, and in 2018 she sings with The Originals in the VIP support act for Vrienden Van Amstel Live. In 2020 she conquered a place in Anouk's team during The Voice Of Holland. Hiske is currently on stage every week with High-end Coverband SESSION. In addition, she sings as a soloist during events and concerts and releases a new cover every 2 weeks on her Youtube channel. Hiske also continues to develop as an actress: she follows master classes from Monique van de Ven, Saskia Temmink and others and she immerses herself in the acting technique of Ivana Chubbuck during weekly lessons from Romy Irene. In 2016 Hiske has her first small film role in the Dutch Thriller-Comedy Sneekweek. In the years that followed, she played guest roles in Flikken Rotterdam, Goede Tijden Bad Tijden, De Slet van 6VWO and Girl of Pleasure. In 2018 she plays the role of Liz in the short Film Scratched Blue Sky (selected for the Cannes Film Festival), and she produces her first short film, Viswijf, in collaboration with Nastassia Firestone, winning the 48HFP Amsterdam 2018. In 2020 she can be seen in the short film Downward Facing Dogs by Karsten de Vreugd and Gold Teeth by Hanna van Niekerk. Hiske can also be seen in commercials for BMW, Alpro, Starbucks, Renault, Andrelon, ABN Amro, De Bijenkorf, Seat, Vodafone and Emirates, among others. She works as a presenter of events, corporate films and on the red carpet for Glamor Shopping Day, Weleda, Holiday on Ice, De Efteling, An Ocean Story and Dopper, among others. From 2019 she will be the permanent face of Bluebiz, KLM's worldwide loyalty programme. In her spare time, Hiske is involved in sustainability, human and animal rights. From 2015 she is Ambassador of Dream4kids, an organization that is committed to children who have experienced a traumatic experience at a young age.
