Dear reader,
I would like to work as an assistant set design/decoration/styling/set dresser.
In Amsterdam I worked for different festival organizations, such as SFX, ID&T and Alter Ego. I did artist care, styling and decoration of festival grounds and stages for Alter Ego events, such as Shoeless or Confetteria.
For Mysteryland festival in Holland and New York I did performances, decoration and styling for the stages 'Owari-No Nai' and 'Kojade'.
In 2014 I became manager of the '4 Elements House' in Amsterdam, which gets rented out to tourists. Besides managing all bookings and communication I worked as a junior stylist. Keeping track of supplies and stock, ordering supplies if necessary and keeping things well organized and tidy was part of the job, too.
Since 2009 I make customized hats on request.
To summarize, I have good organizational skills, a hands-on-mentally and am used to work hard and make long days. I love to make beautiful things and to connect with people. I'm social and flexible and can adapt well to different environments. German, English and Dutch are part of my daily life, as well spoken as written.
After 8 months traveling I am now looking for jobs in a creative and inspiring environment.
Working as an assistant for styling or set design in the film industry seems to be the perfect place for that.
I look forward to hearing from you, Lisa
