My name is Marieke Warmelink (1977, Rotterdam), I am an interdisciplinary performance artist interested in exploring the idea about voices of minorities in relation to social structures and questioning underlying socio-political topics. My work work can be described as fictional documentary. The projects are often sites specific and designed in collaboration with local communities combining a variety of disciplines which result in a short film.
In the past years I have seized many opportunities to collaborate and present work internationally.
