'A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure'
- Charlie Chaplin
I absolutely love working in film and television and have not looked back after I made a much needed career change. I gained a place at Met Film School and began a degree in practical filmmaking as a mature student. The two-year course was intensive and industry based, and it gave me a solid grounding in all areas of film and TV production. I found that I was particularly attuned to assistant directing and pursued that along side my major in directing and screenwriting. I graduated in 2015 and since that time I have been working as a freelancer in the AD department whilst writing and directing my own projects in my spare time. It is my hope to eventually establish a career as a director in all areas of film and TV including adverts, music videos and promos, branded content, short films or features. Currently I am building my show reel and working in the AD department and gathering valuable experience along the way.
I am versatile, ultra professional, a stickler for punctuality and efficiency and I understand the language of film and visual story telling. I also bring character and exuberance to any set. My background in years of hospitality management transfers well I think this has helped me in engaging with people and collaboration.
I have always been creative minded and am a keen musician and songwriter. All my creative output is bolstered by an excellent work ethic and I believe that humility and respect for my fellow human being is an absolute must.
