My name is Rebecca Van Alten, I recently relocated to Amsterdam from Vancouver, Canada. I am fortunate to possess dual citizenship with the Netherlands, and am thrilled to be living here! I have worked at various levels within the film and television industry, and am eagerly seeking the next opportunity for me to grow professionally.

My most recent employment experiences include working as the Distribution Coordinator for Pacific Northwest Pictures, an independent film distribution company. This role gave me an in-depth understanding of the business side of film. Additionally, I've worked as Clearance Coordinator for a Canadian docu-series KEEPING CANADA ALIVE with Force Four Entertainment. And before that, I was an Assistant Director on lifestyle reality series called LOVE IT OR LIST IT VANCOUVER. Having experience both on and off set, in production and distribution, I've been able to gain an all encompassing understanding and respect for various levels of filmmaking.

I moved to Amsterdam for many reasons, but above all, I think it is an amazing city to continue working in my field of expertise. I feel confident that my native English background could be a benefit to you, especially in international productions. I've started basic Dutch language lessons as well, and will continue learning the language.
