As a human being you enter into a relationship with everyone around you. I mostly do research on how two people relate to each other, how they communicate and miscommunicate with words and body language. I look for forms to portray people in an authentic way, for example by not writing a script but by drawing up improvisation assignments. Themes within my work are often about growing up, self-development and encounters. I like the raw street scene and show places as they originally are. The camera stays close to the subject and the main characters to obtain an intimate image.
