In July 2014 I successfully completed the MBO4 study AV Production at the Graphic Lyceum in Rotterdam. During this study I gained a lot of experience in all facets of the video production area, including: Video Editing, Camera work and DVD Authoring, etc. From the third year of study, I specialized in Video Editing for two years, which is a great passion of mine in which, before this study, I already enjoyed it as a hobby.

During my studies I had a total of 3 internship periods. I followed my first internship at the Schiedam company Look TV. They provide the local news and various reports from Schiedam. It was with great pleasure that I learned how this profession works in practice. Of course there were deadlines that the team I worked in had to adhere to. In this way I learned to deliver good quality in a short time frame. Look TV also broadcasts the council meeting of the municipality live on TV every month, I learned to switch on live TV.

I followed my second and third internship at the Rotterdam company Just for the Record. This is a young and ambitious company that maps everything from text to image in the field of dance music. My role here was mainly focused on Video Editing and publishing the broadcasts on the website. This demanded a great responsibility because I had the final responsibility for this together with a co-editor. I also made sure that there was a schedule / plan ready for the upcoming broadcasts.

In my third and fourth year of study I worked on various projects. I did a project in collaboration with students from the Albeda Dance College, among others. The students of the dance college had to make a video for their graduation, I was the video editor. In addition to the video editing, I was also involved in the planning & shooting days.

During this study I learned to work with many different video and audio editing software, including Avid Media Composer. I was taught by a teacher who worked for the program De Wereld Draait Door. I also gained experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe Encore, Final Cut Pro 7 and 10, Davinci Resolve, Pro Tools, FL Studio & DVD Studio Pro.

After my studies I started working as a freelance video editor, cameraman and producer.
