My name is Bart Gielen and I present/organize Barts BoekenClub - the contemporary literary talk show in Paul Haenen's theater, Het Betty Asfalt Complex. Here I have personal and candid conversations with various writers about their (latest) work and about the writing profession. In addition, there are musical performances and young literary talent is offered a stage to promote their book. Barts BoekenClub's motto is that reading is not only beautiful and valuable, but also sparkling and simply fun. So no elitist nonsense from the sidelines. BBC is also interesting for those who do not like literary performances.
