Hello!

My name is Bekir Tanir! I'm an editor and I'm looking for an enthusiastic and active place where I can finally show my skills!


Short description about my past with editing:

My interest in editing started with Youtube in 2006, I watched hours and hours of videos where they did certain things in incredible ways like text editing, sketches, montages & animations. In the same year I started using Windows Movie Maker and probably made the worst videos ever, but I absolutely loved it (I was 12 years old).

Around 2007-2008 I started to take it more seriously, got in touch with other young editors with the same passion and started to learn more, I also immediately switched to Sony Vegas 7 and started working more with FX.

In 2009-2010 I finally started with Adobe, I wanted to do more and more because of everything I saw online and started working with 3D compositing and started paying more attention to small details, audio & quality. I also started working with extensions like Cinema 4D so I could work more with text and objects.

In 2013 I did it, I applied to the Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam and was very happy that they accepted me as a student for a study of 4 years, alone, after the 2nd year I stopped the course because I was very disappointed with how the school operated, how they arrange things, the knowledge they have about what they teach. It felt like they wanted to explain things to me that I already knew.

I have worked at small companies and made montages such as promotions/advertising!

I am very enthusiastic and would like to increase my knowledge by turning what used to be my hobby into a realistic job!

I'm curious what possibilities await me!
