My name is Joël Paesens. I am 20 years old and live in Roden (Drenthe)
When I was 13 I got my first camera with which I started experimenting.
Over the years my experience grew through trouble shooting and self study. Because of that motivation and ambition, I managed to do an internship (during my VMBO years) at Cinemates and AV Zwart, among others. In 2013 I passed my VMBO Diploma. I then opted for the 2-year DTP course. I successfully completed that training. Because of great ambitions and plans, I did not choose further education. At the beginning of 2015 I registered with the Chamber of Commerce under the name Mediavisuals. Together with Sven vd meulen we were working on a pilot program for BNN. Our guests included Stef Bos, Arie Koomen and Tom Staal. At the end of March I started the Youtube channel Vrijevogels together with Sven. We have had collaborations with Prankster (155,000 Subscribers), Doemaargamen (237,879 Subscribers) and Defano Holwijn (74,000 Subscribers), among others. I was also asked to record 3 films with André Kuipers, which was a great honor for me. On my website www.mediavisuals.nl you can see what kind of work I have made.
