The importance of details is something that is often mentioned but little practiced. In our profession, details determine how good you are and yet from a business point of view it is better to go for a financially more attractive provider. We never understood why the two couldn't go together.

Allard Derksen (1987) designs and builds sets for architects, film and theatre. After studying at the academy for visual arts in Amsterdam, he started AllarDesign in 2012. He has provided art direction for several films as well as for successful series and commercials. He has worked with several big names such as; Toneelgroep Amsterdam (The Antonioni project), BMW&MINI, KRO-NCRV (The hidden island), Muziektheater Amsterdam, FLEXA and for pieces such as “West side story” and “Oklahoma”.
If you have an idea, text, concept or a vague idea, we will look together at how we can implement that idea. We are the image translator for the ideas, so that you can focus on your profession and we can create the image with passion.
