Working as a coach for over 18 years, and as a Personal Branding coach for the last 5 years, Mara knows how important authenticity is, in every role you play. Her experience has meanwhile made her an expert in the field of human knowledge: behaviour, emotions and mindset. Having worked with thousands of people, she can put herself in someone else's shoes. Skills and knowledge that she also applies in her creative expressions.

Mara has a great sense of humor, thinks personal development is the common thread in life, likes to work with feedback and always gives herself 100%. She is cheerful, has a positive mindset with the perseverance of a top athlete. She is a team player, understands the bigger picture, is a good listener, has big hair and a big heart :D, is sociable and also has her introverted moments, likes to accept others in their values, and takes very little personally. A storyteller but also someone who likes to listen to stories. Who loves music, dancing and loves to have fun.

In her youth, Mara attended the Youth Theater School Hofplein, and as a teenager at SKVR. At a fairly young age she participated as an extra in the Vlaamsche pot. But due to her successful tennis career as a teenager, she was unable to combine theatre/TV. She has always been active in the media, she started as a Radio Host in 2002, and she has also hosted several live talk shows. In 2011 she played in the low budget film, The Nigerian Contract and this year she went to the theater in the play Oso Dresi in the Bijlmerpark theatre. Since 2001 she has also regularly performed with her own written poems. And she is known as a motivational speaker. Her ambition is to play in a number of major TV/theatre productions within 5 years (thriller would be great fun) and she is open to working hard for this.
