Kim Faber (23) completed a four-year MBO course to become an editor when she was 19. During this study she soon found out that she wanted to make documentaries. The step to apply for admission to the Utrecht School of the Arts was therefore not a big one. In 2014 Kim obtained her Bachelor of Design with Honors at the HKU in directing documentary. She graduated with the documentary I let you go, a film about the right to self-determination of psychiatric patients. In her documentaries, Kim focuses on the people; the small stories of one or more individuals that symbolize a larger social subject or problem.
