After studying Animation and Audiovisual Design at the Graphic Lyceum in Utrecht, Lianne started studying editing at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam.

At the Film Academy she edited the short documentary Gras ijs asfalt (2017, Roy Seerden) and the short film JUNKSKE (2017, Vincent Tilanus) which was selected for Go Short - International Short Film Festival Nijmegen. During her internship with Stanley Kolk and Moek de Groot, she assisted with the first season of the series Fenix (2017, Shariff Korver).

Lianne graduated with the fiction film Bladgoud (2018, Vincent Tilanus) and the documentary Het zaden van Karbaat (2018, Miriam Guttman).
