In 2011 I saw my short film 'Vals plat' premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival. In 2012 and 2013 I participated in the program of the Nijmegen Art Night with a video installation. In 2014 I wrote the film scenario 'is dit Montevideo' as my graduation project, a mosaic film about guilt.

I am fascinated by the poetry that lies in the (un)spoken desires, dreams and shortcomings of my characters. My characters are always looking for the redemption of something, God knows what. They are depicted in their tragic everydayness and are absorbed in the shadows of imagination; the vague vision of their dreams. This is shown instead of argued, from a voyeuristic but loving perspective. Poetic and silent.
