The core of my work as a screenwriter and TV program maker is telling stories, in words and, of course, especially in images.
In my opinion, good television programs are about people: ordinary people in special situations, exceptional people in everyday situations and everything and everyone in between. There has to be something at stake anyway, so you get exciting television that you want to know how it ends.
I love finding and telling stories that many people can identify with in some way. I find it extra exciting to have something complicated told so clearly that it is understood, understood and felt by many people. And if viewers get excited between the lines of the fun about something they didn't or hardly knew until then, that's a bonus. I will always try to avoid melodrama or a raised finger and if possible try to apply a light tone.

I am at my strongest when my ability is called upon to make complex or sensitive matters accessible, insightful and empathetic to a large or specific audience.

I can work independently and with pleasure, but I am also a team player. I see open and intensive cooperation with experts, but also with colleagues and other professionals, as a condition for getting a story as strong as possible. I like to work on the cutting edge, push boundaries and find solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems.
As an experienced program maker, I know what deadlines are, so I have no problem with that. And because I have always worked intensively with directors, editors and producers, I know where the limitations and opportunities lie for them.
Thanks to my empathy, my enthusiasm and persuasiveness, I succeed in gaining and keeping the trust of people outside the television profession. People usually like to tell me their story. My curiosity, empathy, but also my solution orientation and eagerness to learn come in handy here.
Moreover, I do not give up easily, I am cheerful, loyal and a hard worker.
