Simone Peters (1996) is a graduate of the Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance, where she completed her acting training in 2021. During her final year, she interned at NITE (Noord Nederlands Toneel + Club Guy & Roni), performing in Uncle Vanya (dir. Liliane Brakema) and in several Poetic Disasters Club productions. For her graduation performance, she played Nadia in Some Explicit Polaroids (dir. Sanne den Hartogh).

In 2020, she received the Best of Fringe Award with her collective WUSS for the short film Seriously Interrupted Millennial, which also led to an EP release.

After graduating, she performed in Phaedra’s Love (2022, dir. Nadine Febranof), Kankerthee by Theatergroep Aluin (2022, dir. Shabnam Baqhiri), and Thinking, Giving, Birthing and Stealing (2023, dir. Chloe Harris).

In 2023, Simone co-founded the theatercollective DELEEF. and created ROUWRAVE – (from cancer to K-hole), a theatrical rave exploring grief and escapism. The show has been touring since April 2024 and is still running, performed at nightclubs and festivals.

Simone’s recent screen credits include the upcoming short films Cry of Light and Buitenarrest, both slated for release in 2025, as well as a guest role in the TV series Flikken Maastricht (2025).

Simone is currently completing her Master’s in Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam (July 2025), with a focus on feminist theory, the male gaze, and the analysis of gender stereotypes in contemporary theatre.
