After high school I should have gone to college and a well-paid job was within reach, but my aspirations lay elsewhere.

Media/Multimedia:
-After failed studies (Law and Political Science, 1978-1981)) I came into contact around 1984 with a group of multimedia artists, Rabotnik, of which I was an active member until ±1992, contributing to live radio, (live) TV and theater performances.
-Until 2004 I made radio (for the independent and non-commercial 'free' radio station Radio100) with a program that mainly consisted of soundscapes of my own material supplemented with collected TV, film and documentary fragments.
-Over the years I have occasionally worked as a live radio technician, usually unpaid, at Salto/Amsterdam FM (1995/1996), and in 2011/2012 at De Concertzender.
-in 2002/2003 followed the course 'Digital Video Producer' at the College of MultiMedia (CMM) in Amsterdam. Received certificate May 2003.

Streaming:
-In 1996 closely involved in the (more or less) first commercial video livestream in the world. (It was Amsterdam's CasaRosso, who else, that gave the oldest profession in the world a digital touch with a live video stream, linked to a live chat)

-In 2004 I provided the live stream of the main table of several pool (=billiard) tournaments, namely the Amsterdam Open 2004, with a selection of international top players and a main prize of €10,000,
Later that year, a live stream of the main table was provided from the 2004 Dutch Championships.
We placed (video) cameras around and above the table which were sent to the stream via a Panasonic video mixer, with a computer graphics overlay of the score and number of balls on the table.

FILM LAB:
From 2007 to 2010 he worked as a 16mm and 35mm film printer for Cineco/Haghefilm as part of Images for the Future.
Besides printing I was also employed in repairing and preparing very old nitrate films for (their probable last) printing.

VIDEO:
Self-employed since 2012 with my own video production company.
-In 2012 a shooting was made of the ARAG Knowledge sessions, one video of which is still on YouTube.
-Since I like pool quite a bit, I also made two promotional videos for the Dutch Championships, in 2011 and 2012. See biljart.tv and Vimeo.
