Marc Joshua de l'Isle (1982) lives in the inspiring world city of Amsterdam to translate the stories of his soul into books, films and music. After a masterclass in filmmaking in New York, he made a music video that appeared on MTV Networks and he conceived a short film in Chicago. All for songs from his own repertoire. He is currently working on a second book. A novel that he describes as 'a surreal love story of an ex-schizophrenic'. His first book, Grenzeloos, is a mosaic story in which the lives of, among others, a derailed Jewish rich girl, an African vagabond and a schizophrenic who thinks he is Jules Deelder intersect. With his credo 'blood, sweat and ink' he will continue to write books. Marc Joshua has a lot of experience as a performer with performances in the Netherlands and other European countries. The title of his band is also 'Marc Joshua'. His style floats somewhere between alternative, rock, pop and hip hop and is characterized by both personal and narrative lyrics, in which it becomes clear once again that he is a born storyteller.
